Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how ZPlayCine collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data, in accordance with applicable privacy rights. ZPlayCine is a media player: we do not host content, and your playlist credentials are used only to play back what you set up.

1. Data we collect

• Account: if you create an account, your e-mail address and the names you give the account and its profiles. A profile photo only if you choose one.
• Device: the device key (3 letters and 3 numbers) and a technical secret stored on the device, plus model, platform and app version. When a device signs in, our server records its IP address and country — to link the device to your account and prevent misuse.
• Playlists: your playlist credentials (Xtream/M3U) are stored encrypted and used only to play your content.
• Use of the app: watch history (to continue where you stopped), favorites, My List and profile preferences — so they sync across your devices.
• Notifications: a push token, through OneSignal, so the app can receive notices.
• Voice search: the microphone is used only while you dictate a search. Speech is recognized by your phone’s system (Google or Apple); we do not record or receive the audio.
• Technical logs: usage and error data for diagnostics and security.

The phone app has no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tool (such as Firebase or Sentry). We do not sell your data.

2. How and why we use your data

We use your data for the following purposes and legal bases:

• operate the service, authenticate and manage your devices — performance of a contract;
• security, fraud prevention, and device limits — legitimate interest;
• send essential notices (for example, expiration) and, if you opt in, communications — consent (where applicable).

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with companies that run the service for us, under confidentiality obligations — Supabase (database and storage), Cloudflare (hosting of our API) and OneSignal (notifications) — or when required by law or a competent authority. Video comes from the provider of the list you added, usually directly to your device; that provider receives your IP address under its own terms.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists, and only for as long as needed for the purposes above or to comply with legal obligations.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Profile & account › Delete my account), with immediate effect, or by writing to suporte@zplaycine.com, within 30 days. Profiles, watch history, My List, favorites, saved playlists and sessions are erased; devices are released from the account; payment and credit records are kept only as required by law, no longer linked to you. 5. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data (including encryption of playlist credentials). No transmission method is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risks.

6. Cookies and technologies

The site uses only the storage needed to keep your session. Third-party libraries may use their own identifiers; you can manage them in your browser settings.

7. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable privacy rights, you may at any time request: confirmation of and access to your data; correction; anonymization, blocking, or deletion; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, write to suporte@zplaycine.com.

8. Minors

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 without the supervision of a guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. The version in force is the one published here, with the update date shown above.
